Cees’ Biography

Cees Heijboer is a professional photographer, based in Oosterhout, The Netherlands, operating under the name Cees Through The Lens, registered as CTTL Photography.

Graduating from the School of Fotografie, Breda, in 2020, amidst the challenges of the global pandemic, Cees embarked on a journey to explore various photography genres. It wasn’t long before he discovered his true passion for Abstract & Creative Photography.

With over 20 years of experience in imaging and analyzing subjects in an electron microscope, the macro lens has become his favorite tool. His innovative use of techniques like long exposure, double exposure and In-Camera Movement creates immersive experiences that challenge the viewers’ perceptions of time and space.

In his current project “33 RPM” Cees combines his two loves through photographing his vinyl records while spinning on his record player. The result ….. Visualized music ….. sound in color and movement.
